I do sure hope opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim could get his dates firmed up. He has been moved the goal post twice and now the new date for the PR to assume the new government is October 1st or is that the date that he will see current PM, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi?

Anwar’s 2nd PC – Part 2
The PC lasted around 40 minutes. Anwar is confident. No, not confident. Basically, he has the numbers. He has the 31 names (and more, he says) that will jump to PR. Its a matter of whether the current PM would like to “surrender” honorably.
Anwar
Seems that opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim is calling a PC. Two days after the so-called Sept 16 takeover. Today at 2 pm at PKR’s HQ. Will the list be made known? Will he spell out the ‘jumpers’? I hope this time, he comes good on his promise. Then can we move on with this matter.
The Game
Say what you like about Anwar Ibrahim but he is the game. He keeps us guessing. He toys with us about the list of MPs. Everyone in Malaysia and in other parts of the world is focussed on him. We listen to every word he says. Even the current PM listens. He is that good.
11.59 pm September 16
How many of you are disgusted and angry? Disgusted and angry with not only the leader of the current government but also with the current opposition leader? I am not the only one.
September 16
First, Happy Malaysia Day!
1. Today is September 16. Something better happen or all this waiting will just be a big bore.
2. Zaid Ibrahim’s resignation is rejected. Huh? Just move on already. If he feels strongly about things, just resign. They can’t force you to remain.
Grabbing Power
PR supporters may say the end justify the means but I say, this is done so undemocratically. The oppostion leader, Anwar Ibrahim is confident that the current government will end its term 6 months after narrowingly winning the mandate to lead Malaysia. It has targetted September 16 as the date when the opposition will takeover Putrajaya. The issue is, at least to me, what good is this for Malaysia?
Malaysia belongs to all
So says the newly elected Opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim. This is obviously a reference to Bukit Bendera’s UMNO Division Chief, Ahmad Ismail’s statement calling the Chinese in Malaysia as “pendatang” or immigrants. First of all, the statement of the UMNO Division Chief is factually wrong. That I have to say and the Prime Minister who is also UMNO’s President need to strongly rebuke that. I am not sure if the statement is racist in nature but it is surely insensitive especially when you’re soliciting for votes from Malaysians during the Permatang Pauh by election.
A Decade
So what was expected, happened. Anwar is back in Parliament after 10 years. Yippee. Errmmm…whatever
But what was amazing is the amount of confidence that the BN had when they took him on his own hometown of Permatang Pauh. Whatever said about him, it’s his town and when he first contested there, he defeated the incumbent from PAS in 1982. If BN thought that they’d win, then they’re a bunch of political novices!
