It is 3 weeks before Malaysia celebrates its 51st birthday. But celebrations, if anything is rather mute. Normally by now, you’d see cars, taxis, lorries flying the flag on the road plus buildings proudly displaying the flag. As of today, I don’t even think anyone realizes that 31st August is coming up soon.
